hi there i was just wondering, if it matters what edition you use of things? i have goljan audio/lectuer notes of 2001. i do have his 2007, pathology textbook all my qbank is of 2002, my kaplan audio/notes are 2001. is that okay? if there is updated goljan-please give me the link. does it really matter on the edition?

yes and no- some stuff is easy to update thanks to the forum http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/thread/53710 and i had some mol bio questions that would have never figured in notes from 2001- on the other hand- stuff like epidemiology also tends to change- MCC of meningitis due to H.inf vaccination, BIG changes in Pharma - eg Anti-retrovirals for HIV,Lipid mangement, Immunology stuff,etc but some core time tested principles in Physio patho, Principles of phramacokinetics,etc remain "timeless" If you can get new notes, better for you! But if you cant subscribe to this months Kaplan Qbank then make do with what you got/ depend on kindness of strangers in the forum!
