how difficult is to find a sponsor for GC after u complete residency on H1?plz answer..thanks in advance

i am not sure abt this. i have heard though that after residency if u do a job in not for profit intitute they can get u a gc in 2-3 years if u r from indian subcontinet as wait time is very long.
