hi, dude, i have a silly question.

i am currently having severe pollen allergy, rhinorrhea, a lot of sneeze; and my exam is in one week. i am wondering, if you guys have any good ideas for anti-allergy but not causing drowsy or other effects. i tried claritin, but i feel some blurred vision and uncomfortible after taking 2 tablets/day. i am wondering if nasal spray of corticosteroids mgith be good.

i am also wondering if the test center allows mw to bring a box of tissue paper with me, since i have severe rhinorrhea.

sounds really silly, uhhh? a potential physician has no way to deal with his allergy.

either steroid spray or 1 medrol dose pack... Id go with 1 medrol dose pack.. Allegra is another 2nd generation antihistamine to be tried

i have the same symptoms... last year i took my step 1 during allergy season... took Allegra with a decongestant in morning and a corticosteroid nose spray before the exam... told the proctor of my problem and they provided me with tissue throughout the exam - every break i would renew my supply of tissue...
Good luck!!!

Fluconazole nasal spray was VERY good to me not only for my nose but also for eyes... So I strongly recommend it to you

Oh no, it is not silly at all ! I know what are you going through. All the advises above are good. Nasal steroids will take effect after couple a days, try to get them before the exam. But what really worked was new nasal antihistamines ASTELIN Nasal spray !!!

Good Luck on your exam !
