GnRH doesn't treat IPP; it desensitize the anterior pituitary gland to the normal pulsatile stimulation of hypothalamic GnRH which means release of FSH,LH and sex hormones will decrease. The goal of medical treatment is to return the patients to a prepubertal pattern until they will achieve the normal age for pubertal development.
