Shwe, after downloading zipped file (with 'save' option), I double clicked, and WinRAR program opened up. I then click 'extract' button, then it prompts me for a location on my hard drive. Once open, it will be a folder of files. Make sure to open and read the QREAD ME file first. I am having problems getting the images to show up It might be an issue with my browser. Will keep trying.

Yes, I had an issue with my browser. It is fixed and now Netanat works fine. Still going through RR Path musc section , next is skin. Then, need to get through the embryology stuff. Branches, arches, ligaments, folds, clefts, etc.

Acintya and Medoc, yes, it IS all about balance. Mine was off. Didn't listen to hubby in the beginning when he said "You study way too much!" esp. when I first began this journal. It caught up with me. Now, I am doing something about it Just did my 25 UW q's, same result as before, 56% Was aiming for 60+, oh brother. Of the 11 I missed, 2 were absolutely "Duh!" q's for me, one from micro, another from pharm. The other 9 were tuffies. I marked them so that I can reference them later. Am slow today, still on RR Path skin chapt. Have 5 more hours to go before calling it quits for the evening.

Good morning!!! Woke up very early so that me and hubby could do yoga together before he goes to work. Unfortunately, he isn't yet convinced, so I stretched with him before his a.m. run. Hello P2B! Yes, studies are winding down, and the Super Cram will start very soon. KG!!!! I am so happy to hear you are BACK You go, go, go !!! Some of us seem to be going through some sort of recycling phase at certain points of our boards prep. We get tricked into thinking we lost control somewhwere along the way. This is false! We can only succumb to what we ALLOW. Less sleep + eye strain + poor nutrition/hydration + lack of exercise = Bad, bad, bad All are things we have control of. Don't lose control.

Did my half-batch of UWs, 68% Now we're talkin' And now, back to skin. Finished RR Path, now need to trek on over to histo and get clear on cellular junctions and nerve processes in skin. After, will do a quicky with embryology.

OK, to clarify: Merkel's are disk-shaped nerve cells that deal with tactile sensations of light, crude touch at fingertips, hair follicles and hard palate. There is a rare cancer, merkel cell carcinoma, very hard to Dx, rapidly metastisizes and fatal. Meissner's are encapsulated nerve endings in palms and soles that deal with light discriminatory touch. Desmosomes found in which skin layer? Stratum spinosum, where IgG antibodies attack the desmosomes that attach keratinocytes in the skin disorder pemphigus vulgaris, which involves both skin and oral mucosa. Now why do I type all of this? Because I always, always always get pemphigus vulgaris and bullous pemphigoid confused--well, not anymore!

Hi, Kity, my streak of scoring well just hit a roadblock. Crappers! Did Qbook anatomy test, only 29/50, 58% Topics I got wrong include heart embryology and upper limb nerves--hey, didn't I just finish studying that ??? CRACK!!! goes the whip! Back to anat Will go back over upper limb, and cover heart embryo very carefully when I get to CVS.
