GOt this wrong too ... Picked Aldosterone .. !! So someone has to explain why its .. D and not aldosterone . !

I think its atrial natriuretic peptide because this hormone produced mostly in the atria of the heart stimulates natriuresis (sodium in urine) therefore decreasing cardiac output and increasing GFR (Sodium pulls water because of its active osmolite activity).

Aldosterone does the opposite, it increases sodium reabsorption in the distal collectling tubule and sodium pulls water, therefore increasing the extracellular volume, specifically the vascular portion. This would increase cardiac output and reduce GFR since this is a physiological response to a decrease in volume or pressure.

it is ANP 200% sure 
1) Aldosterone if anything INCR preload thru incr Na reabs
2) A2 will constrict both affer&efferent and INCR GFR, agree, good option so far, BUT IT DOESNT AFFECT ANYWAY AFTERLOAD
3) the only one that has effects on preload&afterload is ANP
ANP decr TPR by relaxingsmooth muscle !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 ... I know .. but .. in the question they didnt say if they were potentiating or Inhibiting the drug .. I thought of ANP too .. b.c of CHF in the pt .. !! so probably its ANP ... As luckyall said .. Overlooking .. GETS YOU WRONG >!!!!!!
