I'm a medical student(4th year) interested in pathology.
I'll show you my preparations, and plz tell me about more required things.
1. I'm to apply for Johns hopkins research elective program in Dept. of pathology.
2. I have a publication (2nd author) in SCI journal.
3. I have some research experience in my school as a student researcher.
4. I'm preparing for USMLE. I'll take the exam next year starting from Step 2 CK.
PS : IMGs could be a resident in a famous hospitals such as MGH, JHH, Mayo, etc?

usually IMGs taken in JHU or MGH are either PhDs or some outstanding brilliant patholgist from their own country. I wont say You dont have chance but I guess its hard!
