We know that Gleevec is a front-line drug to treat CML. I recently found that there are new options pertaining to this same approach:

Sprycel: the brand name for dasatinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, which is approved to treat CML for patients who do not respond to Gleevec.

Tasigna is in clinical trials

If the patient is less than 60 yo and have available donor --------the BMT is the best option

IF not ...... than you can go with IMITANIB (Gleevec )

I never heard about Dasatinib Justice . Have it shown better than IMITANIB or what ?
