Need explanation for this one .. Aint sure how to select b.w the diff choices ..

sounds like B, enlarged clitoris from adrenal hyperplasia converting to 17 ketosteroids (androstenedione). There's not testes so the baby is a girl. If it was androgen insenstivity-it would be a genotypic male without internal or external genitalia (vagina ends in blind pounch) and there would still be a testes. As long as you have a Y chromosome (testes differentiating factor), you have a testes, if you do not then you know that shes a girl. So 21-OH deficiency is the only answer. As an aside she would also have hypotension because of lack of mineralocorticoid.
