After a loving grand-mother gave honey to her 8 month old grand-son while mom went shopping , the baby develops constipation , poor suckling , weak crying , descending symmetric paralysis and hypotonia .

What is the next step in management ?

a ) IV ampicillin and Gentamicin

b ) Metronidazole and Gentamicin

Should be D; equine derived botulinum antitoxin is not used to treat infants ( for kids is a human derived antitoxin)!
