hi vidnel, just started review of ck medicine.. planning to spend 2 hrs a day for that. atleast one UW test. and swansons. i`ve been lazing around after step 2, difficult to get the grove back.is FA better or crush 3 better?

well, i hav heard dat crush is better than first aid.. but again it is subjective.. and since i havent gone thru both, i'm not sure either... but i hav decided to go ahead with crush, based on the advice of few others.. wat abt u? well, i;m planning on spending a few hrs too on the ck notes.. wil work out a serious schedule by the end of this wk...

hi guys
nice to see a motivated bunch all at once. i am planning step three by mid july. i started prep but i work so dont get much time. i ve finished 50 percent of uworld topicwise with firstaid reading of relevant topics. couldnt motivate myself to go thru s 3 notes . i plan to read up s2 notes once i am done with uwqbank along with qbook, revision of written stuffs from qbank and first aid.
the questions are really tough guys...i used to get around 70% ck uw...now i am hovering around 63....its bloody tough......
all the best and lets keep going!!!!....
two or three of my friends have flunked the s3 so i am really scared......

i just did my first block in UW and got 54%. hopefully i continue to do better. trying to do 2 blocks today.

enough is enough...gotta get started...lets keep hitting on this thread guys...keep inspiring
ok i have a three day off after slogging whole of this week..
plan--one block tonite
two blocks each for three days plus 12 ccs cases each day
total seven blocks
day 1--- 2blocks - peds ( already read fa)1block- gyne leftover + elecs+ ophthal ( to read from fa first)+12 cases
day 2---1block- psych ( to read from fa first) 1block-nephro( to read) +12 cases
day 3 --- 2 blocks -endo and ethics( to read from fa)+12 cases
day 4 ---( half of monday) 1 block g.i.( to read from fa)+2 cases
lets see how it goes...will keep u updated
don t worry dr croa/..u will definitely improve..i did...i started in early fifties now i m in my early sixties..hoping to improve

hey docrao5 and move along.. i thoroughly enjoyed this wkend.. but decided to start off today.. planning to go thru kaplan sur notes.. wanted to start with something simple as i am off the grove over the wkend.. this wil help me set pace for the wk.. gud luc guys.. i'm sure we can do it!

Today I finished 45 CSS cases.
Will finish FA this week then do questions.

nice to hear from you ll...good choice by starting to read first and then solving questions..i was too unmotivated to do that..but i plan to go thru the complet s3 and ck notes after i finish uworld...which is anytime now....

really confused as to which book to use.. FA or crush. robin, how are you doing ccs cases? are you reading thru them? are they from UW?

docrao5 I read CCS in FA, I just started 2 days ago and tried to understand CCS first.
I used FA for my step 1, 2 CS, 2 CK and trust in FA.
