There are only 2 different set of book from kaplan: 1. Kaplan notes: given to people enrolled in webprep, live lectures, and/or center preparation. They are 7 books + qbook + Simulated exam CD. 2. Kaplan Home study kit: 2 system based books + qbook + Simulated exam CD. The 1st option is the best you can purchased the used books from someone or from ebay, its always better to have latest editions.

As I told you if there are 7 books then yes they are the same live lecture notes, intense preparation consist in that you attend live lectures and you also have the chance to watch the videos at the center. The latest notes are 7 books with a copyright 2002 for your information.

I'M ALSO NEW TO THE FORUM AND HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH POSTING A MESSAGE FOR THE PAST TWO DAYS. I HOPE THIS ONE GOES THROUGH. I'M TRYING TO FIND OUT INFORMATION ABOUT THE LIVE LECTURE COURSE OFFERED BY FALCON IN TEXAS. I'VE ALREADY DONE THE KAPLAN VIDEO REVIEW AND HAVE THEIR BOOKS. MY LAST ATTEMPT FOR STEP 1 I SCORED A 70/170. PLEASE REPLY IF YOU RECEIVE THIS MESSAGE, AT LEAST TO KNOW THAT MY POSTING IS BEING RECEIVED.

Why do you want to spent more money in courses, you already did kaplan which is the best course available in the market, read again your kaplan notes and practice a lot of questions, good luck.

I TOOK THE VIDEO REVIEW AND AT TIMES WOULD HAVE LIKED THE OPPORTUNITY TO ASK QUESTIONS TO GET A BETTER GRASP OF SOME CONCEPTS. ALSO, ITS BEEN 10 YEARS SINCE I GRADUATED AND I DON'T WANT TO LOOSE ANYMORE TIME. THE KAPLAN COURSE IS A VERY INFORMATIVE COURSE BUT I LIKE THE FACT THAT FALCON GAURANTEES THEIR COURSE OR YOU COME BACK FOR NO CHARGE. AT ANY RATE, FROM 70 TO 75 DOESN'T SEEM FAR UNLESS YOUR SITTING WHERE I'M AT.
