I did half of infectious, but then my UW was not working so I couldn't do the block, I start peds infectious, and then in late afternoon I suddenly got soooo tired and sleepy, so I have rested for 3 hours and now I want to read the rest of peds inf.

Ok it is midnight now, I am done with peds inf and I did 30 qs in UW (76%), not bad, I am not sleepy yet, but in order to have a clear mind tomorrow I have to sleep now.
So tomorrow I'll finish ID, and hopefully more than one chapter of peds, I have to hurry, there is so much left...

Done with Qs' explanations from last night, wow this UW explanations take a long time, and up to know I have 20 pages of notes, By the end of it, it will probably be more than 100 or 150 pages of notes!!!! I am not sure about other ppl's notes, are yours that many pages too?
Now I want to go back to ID, and I should work on my Personal statement today also, it's in veryyyyyyy bad shape, no shape to be precise.

Hi khorshid...Dropping in after a long time to see how you are doing!! You are doing great..Scores like this will definitely happen to all--Even to 99ers when they were doing UW..That's fine...Get up and March fast!!

Hey Sprint, happy to hear you're having good days studywise, As for me yesterday I didn't do as much as I wanted to, but today has not been that bad, I read more than 30 pages from peds, then did poison qs from UW, scored 68%, and then I had to focus on another project, now I will read the explanations to the questions, I have to read explanations from yesterday's qs too!!

It's been peds from the morning. I realize I don't have much time left and I want to finish peds by tomorrow. So that I can move on to surgery and OB and psych....God please give me strenght and concentration.

I have to finish peds today, right now 5 pages of cardio, onco, neuro and genetic chapters are left to do. I'll try to finish it by evening, so I can do another block of UW. Time passes so fast, I can't believe June is ending too

maha welcome to the journal Keep us posted.
Jana for review I started with IM, followed by peds...and then started doing UW qs, the ones related to chapters I have reviewd. I take notes from UW explanations, for step 1 I used to take note from kaplan books too, I kind of summerized all important points in my notebook, but for step 2 I don't have the time, what I do, I write the important points "again" at the side of the page in the book, so when reviewing, I know I won't miss any points, sometimes when I am trying to be fast, I don't pay enough attention to some points, but then I'll look at the side of the page and they are all there, I don't know if this helps anyone else except me or not , and again for me speeding up as I get closer to exam helps, the more I do in a day, the better I remember...As dor don'ts, just don't panick I guess, try to cover all areas, but in order of importance, try to do UW completely and read the explanations thoroughly, well I am not sure what else to tell you, but let me know if there is anything else you want to know.
Now last night I did nearly 80qs from UW, and finished peds from kaplan, BUT, I didn't have time for the UW explanations, so that's first thing in the morning, then I am going to start surgery. I want to finish all by june end, if at all possible ,(I mean OB and psych too)

Thank you so much Khorshid for this..So you are revising your kaplan and doing UW along that...Thats good...that wil take you a longer subscription I think..I finished UW in 37 days.....didnt want to pay more... I wil start with my second read of kaplan n UW notes along....Thanks for a really nice description!!!!

Wow I am so releived, I passed CS, to be honest at times I was really worried for it, but thanks god it's done.
Now for today lot's od surgery, lot's of UW explanations...

hey congrats for your cs. it really better to get over with it , its like one less thing to worry abt.
you can now really concentrate on ck. you are done with ur peds revision right ? how many days did it take you to complete it along with uw qs n explanations ?
even i had a target of finishing my review by the end of this month and give nbme but i think i will not be able to do that. i extended it one more week, so it will be like nbme weeks before the real exam. is it too late ? and how many days have u kept for the rest of the subjects ?
iam starting with peds now ....
lets see hw much i do today........

Maha thanks and sorry I am late to answer you, yesterday I was at work, I am done with my peds rev, but not with UW peds qs, it took me I guess 4 or 5 days , but meanwhile I was also doing UW internal qs. well I wanted to finish the rest of subjects till end of this month. The truth is I didn't study thursday (I suddenly felt really low and tired) and yesterday I was at work, so I am not sure if I can still do it. Anyhow best of luck with your nbme and upcoming exam, keep us posted
I'll try to finish surgery this weekend. I am still kind of depressed, and homesick I think. When you're far away from family and friends you just realize more and more how valuable they are to you...
ok, let's start working.
