Anastrozole is an aromatase inhibitor and should be use just for postmenopausal women with breast cancer with positive estrogen receptors. SE: hot flashes, joint symptoms, weakness, mood changes, pain, sore throat, nausea and vomiting, depression, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, headache.

Well, the indications are same, just an old option (used for more than 20 years). The newest approved treatment is AROMASIN, covers both estr-R and progest-R-positive cancers ___________________ Don't live in a town where there are no doctors
