guys how can the answer be severe volume depletion the sodium level is normal the answer is acute tubular necrosis come on guys this was easy

this cant be ATN the urine Na is 8, in ATN it would be >40. i go with E

It 's Preranal Azotemia secondary to dehydration BUN /Creat is more than 20 and patient 's oral mucous membrane is dry E should be tha answer

yes guys the answer is e severe volume depletion this is a case of prerenal acute renal failure These are the important laboratory values Urine osmolarity >500 Urine sodium < 20 Bun/creatinine >20 Acute Tubular necrosis the laboratories are Urine osmolarity <350 urine sodium>20 Bun/creatine <15 So the answer is choice e severe voume depletion Big Time
