hi , hav got my ck in 10 days and i am not at all confident . gave nbme 2 , two days back and got just 300 !!! .. please anybody and everybody ...please tell me urgently whether i should postpone the exam and if yes for how long. i started reading 3 months ago and did kaplan notes twicwe, uw once

Sorry drcool... but arlete is right... 300 is low... you are at risk of failing...
Seems like you have used the right resources... have you reviewed all your questions in UW??? both wrong and right???
Try studying with a study partner... join in question discussions in the CK forum on this site...
Someone once suggested to read the beginning of qbook and try to assess where your studying is going wrong... i think thats a good start...

Hey, I understand what you're going though. I'm in the same boat. I got a 320 on my NBME test and the CK is in 14 days for me!! On May 24th.
I don't understand what I can do to improve my score. Let me know what you're going to change to get a better score and how you're studying for the test now.
Maybe we can help each other!

hi pripi,
got a lot of really good advise to postpone my exam . n i did it !!! , now thinking of taking it in the last week of may or first week of june . ok , first of all , i am going through kaplan notes all over again with special concentration on obs @ gyn and peds which were my weak subjects and will go through uw once again all the questions . this i hope to achieve in 15 days !!! . i know its tough but doable as it will be my third reading of kaplan notes and second time for uw. PLZ. TELL ME IF U HAVE GOT BETTER IDEAS . AND AS FAR AS A SCORE OF 320 ON NBME , plz. tell me which part did u give as part 2 is supposed to be tough . we can take it from there . and oh by the way , where r u from ? i am in chicagoand its hot rght here rght now ! .
