100 subjects :
Genotype number of control
AA 30
AB 25
BB 45
What is the frequency of B allele:
25/200,45/200,50/200,90/200,115/200

I picked 45/100+12/100(half of 25)= 115/200, is this correct? Thanks

BB= 2* 45 = 90 then AB takeing B as 25 so 90+ 25 = 115 then divide it by the total number of Alleles that 200.

They asked Allele Frequency its the simplest form of the question they cud have asked,

AA 30
AB 25
BB 45

out of 100 subjects

therefore, AA 60
AB 50 and BB 90 out of 200 subjects

Allele frequency of B = 90 + 25 (i.e half of AB)= 115/200
