I just started biochem revision .Being an old ImG ,this is challenging .Please advice if any of you found pretest series 500 q's useful .It's a big book ,requires time commitment but if it helps memorizing ,i might actually consider going through it .Please advice .Which other q's are you using for biochem revision purposes ? Thank you

PreTest is good if used correctly. Personally I think that the Biochem PreTest has hard qs, I think harder than it's required but it's good because it challenges you to really have a good understanding. I used that for doing qs after finishing each chapter from kaplan LN to see if I was ready to go ahead (I think 75% or more is reasonably good). The qs are less clinically oriented and more biochemically-oriented than it should be but again it's a good tool to see if you have a good knowledge not to make you acquainted with the exam question-type. Another good resource is kaplan qbook to be done at the end of the whole biochem review to see if you did it well or not: if you have less than 75-80% I would go back and refine the study and than test again with qbook. Also BRS have a not-too-bad comprehensive biochem exam.
