Hello people on this forum. I would like advice on my situation I failed step 2 ck with a 177 more than two months ago since then I have devoted my full time to study about ten hours a day I have done uw twice and read all the explanations and did all the questions I got wrong again, I have read first aid twice and also boards and wards twice i am begin to really burn out should i take the test now or keep studying.

hi ram im sorry to hear that. Have you read kaplan and revised it recently. If you havent done that try going over that one more time. Also please take NBME form2 before really appearing for the exam. Also choose only one review book, either FA or B & W, which ever you are more comfortable with and keep revising that towards the end. Try to learn/memorize the basic facts so much so that they are on your tips. It helps speed up during the exam and just in case you get lengthy questions.

Sarika Hi thanks for the reply I have read kaplan thats all I did when I failed I read them three times the 2006-2007 version and did usmleworld. So this time I bought first aid and boards and wards I have not really used my kaplan this time around only the surgery notes for kaplan everything else I am learning from usmleworld I have done that twice. I am going to use first aid only now and review the usmleworld again I preety much finished the usmleworld. I also wrote you in the step 2 cs I passed that exam.

Seems like you are going in a good pace. Try the nbme and see what you get...people say to get over 450 before appearing for the exam. Good Luck.
