hi guys ,
just giving my step 3 for the second time , need some motivation and i have to give this exam before i apply this year , so will try and do my best this time and give my best shot .today i m gonna do CRUSH , atleast 50 pages .completed only 9 pages. 41 to go , more important is how much i grasp .

I have started with crush and FA too, trying to get a quick review before going into medicine thoroughly. I have done paeds and biostatistics. Will do Ethics and psychiatry today. Still developing the inertia.

hi kingsfolke,karusmle. i too will start my prep.plan to start with med from ck notes.but just not able to make the start.maybe we could help each other out.
when do u all plan to take step3.is it fine to give by aug end?
Have u guys begun residency if not we could discuss stuff abt programs too with step3 prep

Hi buddies,
I am doing step 3 too but I lose my motivation and concentration. I am afraid that I can not sit for it before Sep this year. I am preparing for 2008 match and many things I am worried about.

Well similar situation here, i just got back from states and will not go back untill end of september so cannot give this exam earlier. But i want to nail it down. And i have got time to. Yeah we can also collabrate for match. I am trying to write a personal statement these days. And i am also emailing programs to ask them about minimum criteria and visa etc. I am going for neurology.
I did paeds, psych, ethis and stats, obs and gyn and ambulatory med from FA. Now i am doing swanson. I want to be done with specialities before i start Int med. So i will leave adult med in swanson and finish the rest. Then i will do step2ck notes for int med and then Qbook and qbanks as many as i can. Thats the plan, any suggestions ?

Well i did OBGYN and Biostats and epidemiology from Swanson. I am really liking it. I decided to do it because i wasnt going to study a text book for anything other than Intern med. I think its a good thorough review book and if time allows should be done as a review, especially in the begining.

well I have not started studying for step 3 yet, I am trying to figure out which books to get for step 3...plz help me..
I took my step 2 cs on 28th may , still waiting for the result..these days i am emailing programs to find out their application criteria..i will b applying in Im n psych

good to know ujala that there is another person studying for step 3.You can join the step 3 prep journal and add how and what you are studying.
step 3 material are kaplan step 3,crush step 3 ,first aid step 3,swansons step 3 ,uw q bank .

hey hawaii,can u guide me how to select a state for step3,im an img......heard from sum1 that if u dont fill the form till sep,u wont be able to sit for the exam this year,is it so?well i will recieve my certificetion only till end of aug.......what should i do in this case?

yes there is a deadline and i am not sure but i think its 10 september. AND its not for just applying BUT your Candidate Identification Form SHOULD be there by this date otherwise next year. check it out on the FSMB website.
