hi ii am preparing for step3 as well and plan to take it in july... I am doing first reading of step2 ck kaplan notes.and usmle word questions...whats your plan ?

i'm also planning to take the exam in mid july..how r u'll preparing?r u'll usingg ck notes or step 3 kaplan notes?n any idea how long the QBank takes?dunno whether 2 buy it for 1 mth or 2

I am done with Crush ,did geriatrics ,emergency medicine and pyschiatry in swanson's family practise medicine just gave a reading ,will start doing UW questions from today onwards ,planning to finish UW questions within this month .

ok..do u know whether i shd use step 2 ck or step 3 notes.i've just begun doin step 3 notes n from what i rememeber i think ck notes were better.how long will the UW qbank for mcqs & for ccs take if u're just doin it for 4-5hrs each day..any idea?

I think CK notes r better to revise the things .I quickly went through the step3 notes and i think ob/gyn are worth doing and ethics section too.for rest use step 2 ck notes....I will now go through swanson.can you tell me is First aid better or crush the board for step3?

is anything else reqd in addition to ck/step 3 kaplan notes & UW QBank? i dont plan to use anything else,unless abs necessary!

Hi people ,count me in too, though am aiming for september but i will try to match your progress. I am going throuh Crush step3 and First aid step3. Wanted to revise ,hardly anything new in them. I will go through step2 notes, i read step3 notes during step2 preparation and they are not worth it. Will do kaplan and UW qank and Kaplan Qbook though i am still not sure in which sequence. hey everyone....count me in too...although I haven't decided yet when will i take step 3 but am starting my prep...so from the discussion here i figured out that we need to review ck material for S3 + step 3 books for ob & ethics...is that correct?....that would be great as there won't be any new reading to do....

any idea what wd be a decent score in the UW Qbank? a score that wd get u something in the mid to high 90s in the step 3?
