What is the MOA, adverse affects and uses ?

inhibits Na-K-ATPase of cell membrane :arrow: increse in intracellular Na.
Na-Ca antiport does not function efficiently :arrow: increase intracellular Ca :arrow: +ve inotropy
Increase PR,Decrease QT,Scooping of ST segment,T wave inversion of EKG
Uses:CHF,atrial fibrillation
Adv effects:NVD.Blurry yellow vision,Arrhythmia.
Toxicities are increased by renal failure (decreased excretion)Hypokalemia(potentiates drug's effects)quinidine(decreased dclearance..displaces digoxin from tissue binding sites)
