u know a lot of people might consider kaplan pharma to be insufficient and i admit that i thought that too in the beginning but when i delved deeper into the kaplan course i learnt that even kaplan pharma becomes a little too much to handle in the end.i think it is so comprehensive and concise that people actually consider that to be a drawback of the book.but trust me,there isnt anything on the exam that deviates too much from the kaplan outline or the hardcore kaplan course.

agree with multifactorial i started off with katzung and trevor board review but freaked out it the middle coz of overwhelming info in the text. half way i switched books and was satisfied with kaplan!

i did goljan audio and kaplan pathology book.i think a better investment would be in the goljan audio coz the kaplan lectures are a tad bit boring.nevertheless, the choice rests ultimately with the test-taker so things might work differently for different people.what i did was to listen to goljan and add the extra points to my kaplan book.

i think when u hear that something has been introduced on the exam,u should start preparing for it at once.u never know when test questions start to get marked and add bonus points to your overall score.do the cts, mris and ems coz they are sometimes a big part of the exam.even if you get 6-7 questions per block that consist of these, they form a big chunk of your exam

i've learnt my lesson nowt that i'm far ahead in my prep for da exam. use ONE source, kaplan as u go along, and only for the first review if u don't understand something go to anotehr source. for pathology, goljan for pharmac stick to kaplan & look at lippincott's if ure weak in some topics but make sure u got 2 ure orignal source
