throat culture?! Do we wait till the results are ready? Strange choices? When antigen is negative so it means she doen't have strep infection, doesn't it???

No, you have to confirm the negative rapid strep test with a throat culture, coz strep throat if missed has many devastating complications..u may read more on this in KAPLAN peds notes under infectious dieases chapter.,so the answer here is defintely-----> B

I agree with B. The rapid Strep test has a high sensitivity, but low specificity.
