i only have a month left until the exam and i wanted to know how much i should be stressing about pharm!
most of my other subjects are pretty good (65-80 percentile in UW). but pharm is about 45-55 percentile. i know i'll definately pass but i can't help but freak out about the USMLE torturing u in subjects ur weak in! is this true? will i get more pharm qs on the exam cause i am not good at it?

My situation is similar, except that i´m kind of weak in biochemistry and hematology. I can only hope that the questions are evenly distributed like UW.

pharm is one of the most tested subject in step 1 so its quite important. you better do something abou it

well, here's the weird thing, i'm pretty good at the pharm in kaplan qbank but i think i might be flipping out whenever i see anything about drugs on the ques! flipping out probably doesn't help the situation. any suggestions?

UDub's pharm questions are incredibly tough...so do not get too discouraged, from speaking with past USMLE takers, the pharm questions are relatively easy and First Aid memorization is extremely high yield....holla

to phatgtdmb: already on memorizing FA for pharm... will continue... thanks
so i guess the question still remains though... does the test focus in on ur weaknesses or is this test not really out to get u.... is there hope for a more evenly distributed test regardless of weaknesses????

As far as I know it is not an adaptive exam . It would be just bad luck if someone gets more qs from their weak area .
