That's right, in fact asymptomatic bacteriuria in infancy is more common in boys and mostly due to "structural renal abnormalities" according to the explanation of the q Now i don'y know this: what kind of abnormalities are most often cause of this?

pyelonephritis is most common form of UTI in infancy and usually results from vesicoureteral reflux (VUR). VUR is a result of renal pelvic dilatation. other congenital anomalies that can cause bacteriuria are ureteropelvic junc. obstruction, ureterovesical junc. obstruction, ectopic ureter and posterior uretheral valves all of which cause urinary stasis. this is what i could find.....could be right, could be wrong anyone else?
