You're welcome & Thanks V . I have to thank to you to start this topic . Now for my 1st read or 1.5 , any way, I think , I can ,cover, wiil have to read only the basics of all ie. "kap materials " for theory by your advice, my instinct & as generally most of us did, do, will do. Then I thought there will be which Q bank ... kap or UW or RX or etc., or summary books eg FA or Kap Med Essential you add , but cannot find in your post. So to be clear ... let me assume , you read all latest 2007, or 2006 or which yr. 1. kap LN 2. kap Q book 3. kap dvd, video 4. kap regular 2000 around Q bank 5. kap physio Q bank 6. kap IV Q bank 7.kap diagnostic 150 Q 8.kap 2 sets of simulated 350 Q each If any of above, you've not use at all , please let me know, so I can omit for now. Then please let me know have you also read any golj & his audio as the following. 9. Golj 5 d audio 10. Golj live LN, general & systemic & HY print out notes, not his text 11.Golj HY a. 100 p b. 36 p c. etc 12. Golj RR the text , old is 360 p. about, new is 760 p.about [ pages are not exact] 13. Golj 350 Q . Also re ; reference books are for ref or read all when refer to that specific topics or chapter. Are all ref books are latest edition or not ? Thank you V. By the way, 1st read as 3 -4 hr is good , v. good hr. & also the best way to learn & read along smooth, fast is by reading news paper or noval ways. So you'll see the big pictures, understand & grasp the point in general. then 5-6 hr to detail , then 10 hr to re-read in short days ,like review , I think is good plan. I will try. Now with long hr.too deep read of 1.5 read with more than one book , me go no-where much. My 1st fast read with kap & only one extra book sometimes , is more productive.
GL , all the best .

i hope you get it up to 3.5 read my friend! anyway i used some old school kaplan because my wife took the review before i did, 2003 as a matter of fact. since my wife is very meticulous with note-taking, i trusted her enough not to watch the videos anymore. she noted which were high yield annd all the extra stuff from the videos. i only have the handouts and videos + qbook. no q banks in my library. no groljan either.. i read all the cycles in lippincotts biochem to get a deeper understanding. but a little bird told me that the kaplan notes is good enough. i think you should ask girl interrupted for real advice. hehe dont take it from me.. i just have 4 reads!

I would like to thank luckyall and knightinblue (who i believe are God sent) for all the support that they are giving me! I love you both, MWAH!!!

Hey V, Take it that way, you're right aim for 99 , but real 99 , cause you just need few point to get pass marks , so this time do same so will at least 73 then add with add more to raise the marks beyond 75 to aim at 99 . Instead of beer , now drink coffee or tea with all folks , friends chat here to keep self high [ in study, mood , happy study ] without drinking We're all here fore you mate , celebrate 73 then, be ready to hit the book in few days , let say after this long week-end. You might want to open the study journal too to let us poke you to make sure you'll be studying well without any beer . Only reward , if you finishe each subj well . pm or chat with us if you feel like to. Make sure this time you'll do Q book well & Q bank, UW too, with your reads as before & more reads with more resources if needed to get concepts . GL happy success study mate, All the best, Your buddy

verapamil: I was gunning for you, man! I still am - you can do this, it's absolutely possible. I have failed as well, was going to re-take 5/22, took nbme form 3 and am not where i want to be, so i'm in the fight with you. i actually just finished PASS program videos (unconventional but brings big pic into focus), will do goljan and FA again (and again...). Best thing is to keep our FOCUS. Hang tight and study hard. I have been lurking here for awhile but your posts and the others moved me to chime in. With you in the quest...

Hello I just want to know whether it is normal to feel that you failed, have you seen people who thought they failed but passed?
