A friend of mine had an alcoholic PT without the gown...She said he refused to the PE.
What can i do?

can't force the patient to undergo PE...
i would start with a complete history - cheif complaint, PAMHUGSFOSS, SODA - counselling about alcohol abuse
try to coax the patient to have a PE... explain why you need to do a PE... the importance of it...
if agreable after discussion, tell the patient to put on a gown and you will come back to do the physical when he is ready...
if still not agreeable, schedule follow up...

Yes...OK...But the patient is fully dressed and no gown...what do i do?
