my friend started studying for step2 for 1 to 2 months and then cuz of some r plzeasons couldnt study for 5 to 6 months and then has been studying for 3 months. now planning to give exam next week. do u think she gave enough time. i dnt wana say it to her until and unless im sure about it.most of the people saying alot of time has passed she should give the exam as more time will pass thats gona act as a negative element and should give the exam. she graduated in 2003. her step1 score was below 80%. she doesnt want to make a big mistake

it all depends how well is she prepared right now. how are her scores in qbanks and NBME if she has has taken any.in my opinion dont rush for it if you are not fully prepared and confident.

It depends on her nbme score...if she got a really good one...no point in waiting....some people take 7 months to prepare some people take 2 or 3 months and they are good. My brother just toke 2 months and got a good score.
