Hi my friends,
I just want to share with you a good news. I finally matched into a University based program in OBGYN.
As you probably know about my story. I applied in OBGYN and went through a number of interviews but did no match during the Match. I applied to 93 programs (only OBGYN, no back up), had 8ivs, went through 7 and ranked 6. Scramble was also very disappointing for me and was very stressful with uncountable of phone calls, fax, email... But at last, with the help of God and lots of luck, a program has just been approved to be expanded, they invited me for an interview and finally offered me this position.
I will start my residency soon and begin a new life. For those who did match this year, count me in guys. For those who did not match this year, please keep in faith and you will get it, soon or later.
Thank you for all of you guys for your constant support, especially bbb, apurva, laptop, loser (he is a winner now), amyggdala, moozy. isther, skdoc..just name a few. This forum is tremendously friendly. I will continue to be here, hopefully to be helpful to some ones.

SUper ...absolutely fantastic...Your joy is far greater than joy gotten in matching on match day ....To put an analogue to it imagine how happy ending Titanic would have if Leonardo climbs up the ship and kisses the old (and almost extinct ) Kate winslet just at the moment she is about to throw that blue stone necklace in the sea.
And then both would live happily forever and produce 100 kids who will dig up the every titsand bit of Titanic.
This poor analogy apart your story is really very inspiring ...Big congrats ..now you help produce 100 kids .cheers
