have u started studying?? from which college did u graduate?? sept seems too early but it seems u already have a plan.

Yes I have already started, but haven't done much. But I have got all the stuff required for step 1 prep. I got my kaplan books and dvds after my last final prof viva in feb, but it was not possible for me to study while waiting for the result. But since last 1 week, after deciding that i will not join any h.job I have started working on a study plan which includes completing my first thorough reading by 15 th june (which includes consulting other books other than kaplan), and and afterwards revising the stuff in shorter time so that i shall be able to revise atleast 4 times by sep.
I know it seems difficult but not impossible.
Have you started studying? Have you got all your study material?

well i graduated from allama iqbal medical college. i will be starting off with step1 after 2 weeks. i do have kaplan books dont have dvds. 15 june for 1st reading hmmm. mine mite go till end of june. but ur plan seems pretty good. i was thinking of house job too but now i think ill do house job after im done with steps just for experience. sept seems early but yeah its not impossible. im aiming for november.
i think we can work things out if ur up for it.

Basically for step 1 we take an eligibility period of 3 months (which you must be knowing), so i was thinking of taking sep, oct, nov, so that incase i feel my prep is not upto the mark then i can delay my date, but for now i am quite determined for sep.
DVDs are really good, without dvds kaplan notes are a bit incomplete. You must get them.
I was also thinking of doing h.job after steps for atleast few months before going for step 2cs.

yeah im thinking of doing house job in medicine after step1. once i start off with step1 ill keep in touch at regular basis. end of june first reading thats the target inshAllah.

Hi there
Im fm Pakistan too i'l b completing my frst read around 28th June inshallah..
i ve done my House job..No doubt u get the experience but its better to finish both steps and CS bfre doin any job fr experience..
as while doin the job bfre doin steps n CS u dont feel n u loose the match..this is the negative side of it..
