no this is a huge book i was joking.. there are many books out there, it depends on what you feel suits you.. are you in ain-shams? and the idea of "hitting two birds by one stone" is not doable i think grin

i think it may be ck relevant too

  #1865

Atropin +/- Glucagon [ inotropic ]

the answer i got was glucagon alone as it is gonna increase cAMP opposin the action of beta blockers....i think atropine is gonna help too ...but wat do u think abt sites where symp is workin alone like blood vessels ..atropine alone isn't gonna help..
my answer was crazy i said we should use reuptake inhibitor like Tricyclic antidepressant (or cocaine if the Px wanna have nice moodgringrin)thats gonna increase the NE n kick out the beta blocker from the receptors.

Px was admitted to ER wz past history of cerebral stroke his DPB is 135 mmHG his blood glucose was high as he missed his hypoglycemic drug ...which antihypertensive do u prefer (Na nitroprusside, minoxidil or diazoxide ) y dont u choose the others?

  #1869

yah u r rytgringrin
diazoxide is hyperglycemic
minoxidil may increase his hyperkalaemia
so we pick Na nitroprusside
good job guysgringrin

no check this out after the marriage forum gringrin
http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/thread/75721/

you'll have to be in last year of school so right now I think you should be enjoying your timegrin

there is no average I guess cause some places charge tuition up to $3500 per one 4-week elective like Alpert (Brown University), some other dont! Some states are much more expensive than others, also it depends on how live, what kind of apartment, whether you rent a car or not, hit on girls or notgrin.... etc

this is where you can search for schools offering clinical electives, by any of the criteria they have but always check the box "schools that accept international medical students":
http://services.aamc.org/eec/students/

Also there is a list of hospitals here:
http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/thread/63660/

And another one on SDN:

  #1880

5th year takes 12 months, who needs to put it off for more?grin I dont think this is possible but you'll have to ask in your school, wouldnt do that if I were you tho..

What issues need 2 yrs to be figured out? you cant be scheduled anywhere 2 years in advance because schools schedule their own students for a given academic year before they can accept international students..
