Is listening to Step 1 DVDs a must?
actually i waste a lot of time listening without getting much benefit of it.

Pharma 2007 a must
Physiology either version just to understand the curves
Pathology ... Don't watch them at all .. instead listen to Goljan ... after ur 2nd reading
Behavioral, Epidemiology & biostatistics 2007 a must
Micro ... Don't watch them
Immunology 2007 ... more than gr8 ... a must
Anatomy 2002 is gr8 ... i don't know about 2007

the guy of Biochemistry in 2002 is the one who teaches pharma in 2007 .. u can imagine how gr8 it is ... especially the Autonomic section ...

Kaplan notes & centerprep videos 2007 ... u can find them in Ain Shams and Kasr Ainy Book stores ... but be sure that the videos are 2007 .. if not look for them on the web

thanks mezo and ledo i cant enter the exam unless i finish sex year so the videos will be old at that time i hear that brs in pathology better than caplan

i thought i had to wait till i graduete....but if u surf the thread backward u can see wat mezo has told me.
u can download kaplan 2007 4 free and save a lot of money
there r audios but wont be efficient like the DVDs
everybody recommend goljan pathology
wait 4 the reply of mezo and faddy

There are Audios, but they are the same as the video, just separated the Audio from the Video ... can be beneficial if u wanna listen to them on the run ..
U r right Pathology in Kaplan is so Baaaaaad .. but we use Goljan Audio and the notes provided with it ... they are availble with the videos and u can download them from the net as well, actually if u scrolled back 1 or 2 pages, someone has posted a link to download all goljan stuffs ...
Also, if u scrolled up u'll find a rating by me for the videos
I don't know about BRS, i didn't use myself, but i heared good things about it ... better use Goljan ...

Please don't over estimate me ... we was like u and without the help with our friends we won't be able to know all of this ... it is a way of paying back

i have already started the preparation
i feel like im standing in front of a mountain of data and i have to get it into my mind.
i really enjoy med study so much.im mad wz medicine.
my problem is that im confused cuz there r many serieses,kaplan,BRS,road map,nms,first aid and many many others.
i got confused
if u have discussed that point be4 as i know this is common complaint ...just tell me and i will surf back.

Hey Mezo...I`m trying uw plus kaplan revision..unfortunately I couldnt manage a time for Goljan HY pages...any advice in this last wk?....what u suggest to do in the last day b4 the test?to go for fun as some ppl say?or revise some stuff?

Just leave the things that confuse u most at last to be fresh in ur mind, don't stress urself in the day b4 the test, i always heared that advice but never was able to follow it .. however, i don't overreview this day, just the worrying things to me, the photos, the important labs, CTs, q notes and if u have any time please please try to read Goljan even once .... like i said 3 -4 pages everyday, not so much, or at least read the pathology setion of it ...
one more thing, how was ur UW performance, if its subscription is still running with u, then try to do a block everyday of ur wrong qs .... this is the best way to memorize these concepts ..
did u do NBME & Sample material, how was them ??
I can't think of anything else for now ...
May ALLAH be with u, and plz give us ur feedback when r done ..

look i wanna tell u extremely important thing.
it is totally scientific and i tried it myself
it is something to do everyday be4 sleeping to releive ur stress at the exam time.
i have learnt it in a human development course.
ok
here is it
everyday be4 sleeping u drink a little amount of water,
u relax in the bed,take a deep breath as deep as possible ,,,,,keep it 4 a while,,then get it out over a long time
then imagine u r in the exam(human brain cant differentiate beween the reality and imagination that is why u have stress response to nightmare although it is a dream)
keep imagining being in the exam every thing is cool and u r doing so well..
after the week is out and u become in the real exam u won't have a stress as ur subconscious is totally convenient wz the whole situation as it is here everyday.
may Allah help u
just make a deep intention u r gonna help our ppl

My uw cumulative performance till now is 62%..I have only 4 days remaining in my subscription with ab 20% of questions havnt been done yet.so I think I should concentrate on finishing the unused rather than redoing the incorrect questions.
I did 3 blocks of the usmle CD sample;I dont remeber what was my score with them but I think that the wrong answers in each block didnt exceed 5.
@Ledo...thx dear for that method of stress relief..I`ll do it isa

Ur score is relaxing, u r in good shape ISA ... Ofcourse, better to finish all the qs, and if u can extend a week and continue doing the wrong qs will be gr8

Man, u ask too much, u r so excited, just start, its ur own fight, just plan it as u like just keep in mind that Pathology and Physiology is 60% of the exam ... just watch the videos and study kaplan, then come back when u finish the 1st reading ok ??
I can't follow up with u more than that, I've an exam soon ISA ... Sorry ya man, just follow what i told u for now and i'll get back to u onve i'm done ..
