yea they said it would be practical and most of the MCQs were not!! There was one about trigeminal neuralgia but they will give us 15 points for free because of that, I love free points

Guys,
Does anyone has or knows any resources to practice on these videos and Audios that gonna appear on our test ???
They now instead of describing for example the murmur will let u listen to it, so u gotta be very well in differentiating these things ....
Any ideas ???

What else do u think can appear on these videos and Audios ??
And another qs, Fungal infections of the lungs ... every lecturer on Step1, even Glojan said u gotta know the area, Medwest, southern west .... etc. ... they said this is the only way u can diagnose them, common, how could I ?? we are IMGs, we are not aware of the USA map, i know about the big states, but not everything, when they mention a desert name, i should know that this desert is in Arizona and that Arizona is in Southwest and so the diagnosis is coccidioies ....
Any idea on how we gonna overcome that ??? it is a very very important q on exam. ... any ideas ???

I dont remember that was a big deal in step 1... you just know the diseases related to somewhere in the states, they were not too many... and also outside the states, I remember there were questions on cases who immigrate to the US!

The voices r not so clear, i think there might something better than that, i came across some other site, but i can't remeber it , i'll try to look it up ..

This what goljan just said, he said they r very very very important on the exam. and i came a long alot of qs about them on UW and NBME .. knowing the areas is difficult, coz in the notes they say medwest, u don't know what r these states, in the qs they give u the state or the capital of it or a very well known area in it like a river or a desert or something ... that's y i'm asking, things are changing and come tougher by time man ...

I dont think they will go too far in such questions, you just try to memorize what passes by.. Also it would be good idea to take a look at where the states are in a map

Did you talk to the Admin Cos i dont see a reason. Talk to Admin and sort it out with. It happens sometimes the servers tend to get mixed up and it goes downhill.
