thanks for asking doctor_mhl  ,
actually I'm a little bit upset cause I didn't find any dates in July nor August  , so I scheduled the test in [September 2nd ] which is tooooooo faaaaaar   ...., and I can't imagine that I still have 3 months to go .......,and beside that it will be in Ramadan ..
any way I have nothing to do, and I'll look frequently for any one who will postpone his date so I may find some earlier dates later on Inshaallah [ or may be later on I'll find that this is a good date for me, don't know ]

Step 1 or 2? Do you feel ready that you wanna make it earlier?! Does anyone ever feel ready for the USMLE?!
I was reading about prematch offers.. Does anyone have an idea about if they give a position at an earlier date or they just let you sign a contract out of the match??

look at it from the bright side, 90% of egyptians postpone their exam dates anyway consider yrself one of them , take it as a chance for you to revise and stress on yr weeknesses as many times as y can without stress , solve as much qs as y can, who knows may be this a factor helps y to get 99 isA

a prematch is actualy a position outside the match
u sign the contract earlier than the match of course otherwise no need to name it prematch!!!!!

Well if you persistently use Arabic or any other Language in your posts or anyone else does in their posts, they will be deleted. If you say that you provided the translation for it then my answer to you is that Moderators dont have the time to interpret and match your translation. So it will be deleted.
I was under the impression that Maoudoody made it clear for all that English would be the primary language used. If not then go back to the IMG Forum and Read the sticky.

Hi frnds..I wish u r doing well.
I`m going to take ck at the amideast/cairo after 1 month from now,and I have some qs for those with previous experience if u plz:
1-Should I take a passport or the ECFMG ID card?or can I go with my Nationa ID?
2-When exactly should I be there?
3-Should I go to the amideast b4 the test date for checking and getting familiar with the location?or it is better to save that day for studying?
4-what is allowed to bring with me?especially foods and/or notes.
5-any other advice for the test day and center?

1. ID that carries ur name in English similar to ur name in the Scheduling permit ... passport or ECFMG ID card both ok .. I don't know about National ID but i think it works too
2. 30 minutes i.e. be there at 8:30 am ISA
3. not needed, u r not playing a football game and wanna get accustomed to the field !!!!
4. ur ID, Scheduling permit, Appointment letter, u can bring food but not recommended just some sugary sweets drinks to keep u alert, u can bring study materials, but u won't have time to open them, u'll be provided with a locker in the center where u can put ur belongings there
5. Nothing more than what u asked for

egyusmler, national ID doesnt work it has to be something with your name in english!
other advices would be keeping your eyes away of the hottie who will be watching you in the exam i dont know if she's still there but she was a huge distractor to me

Hey Faddy,
I was just busy and didn't wanna to be distracted by ur semi-fight with modersators, but u all were involved and my contribution won't do any good
I think National ID is working too, i heared i think, but i'm not sure, u should be asking them ...
I didn't confirm with the center b4, just the online confirmation ... but it won't hurt to call, it is just their phones are so busy and no time to waste calling them b4 the exam. ... that's all ...

UW is Damn hard, especially in pathology and physiology, so many qs i don't know what is it talking about to find out later they are asking something between the lines .... If the exam is like that , sure i'll be screweeeeeeeeeeeeeeed ....
