yeah Mezo , thnx for clarification , in my point of view we actually considered as graduates practically only after al Emtiaz , however many may disagree , but this is the truth  and no cheating in that at all , good luck budy with yr study

16 DVDs.. I dont remember their price but it was 300 or something like that.. both of el marwa in cairo uni and el manar in ain-shams are selling them..

you know?I answeredyes cause I thought it's required to finish el emteyaz before we get the final diploma...,
any way I don't think this is abig matter,
your friends who did this Mezo and told them the year of graduation after el emteyaz , did they get residency or just interviews ?

the temporary certificate or el kartoon have nothing to do with graduation before or after el emteyaz.. they just need the diploma that gives you the MB ChB degree.. the temporary one works.
el shahada el kartoon is usually released late because of the loads of certificates they are issuing, not because you're required to do el emteyaz... plz ask in your school they gonna tell you the same thing..

I'm not sure whether its a big matter or not.. its always better to count on non-doubtful informations, email ECFMG directly to make sure..

Guys i have no time for this ... look ...
do like Nany did, i did that too and all my friends did that, we answered yes required, and graduation is of the 6th yr exam. as on the cartoon diploma ... no big deal ... Faddy raye2 we beyrawa2 webeynawar fel Hamam, Amigo Shoes
& yes Nany, both matched, one in NewMexico univertisty, Internal medicine Program, with a chance to fellowship in GIT later, this program is so difficult as it only accepts people who did an externships in it, my friend got 80 in both steps and got matched in it, as he is a Green Card Holder and did the externship, i don't how he managed to do it yet, but i think he had an inside help, as he knows another friend older by a year, i think he helped him ....
The other one got matched in a program near Houston, TX also, internal medicine ... he said somewhere in the desert, he was a offered a prematch and he accepted it on J1, he told me he was afraid, as so many go unmatched even with high scores, so he thank a lil bit and then accepted it, he got 97,97,pass,79 ... the program is not so big, but the system there gurantee a standard basic level of training and that's what is important for us ...
Both of them did what i'm telling u to do and adviced me to do so, the debate that Faddy is referrig to with mildanemia, someone from Kasr Ainy just a couple of pages earlier, stated what i was debating with mildanemia and i asked under it about mildanemia & wished to read these lines ...
Forget all that Shit, the bottom line is, it is not wrong to do it, even if we r understanding the laws incorrectly, it won't hurt us by anyway to do so and we r not fooling anyone, so just rest assured & do what i'm telling u with complete self confidence...

then im looking for a study partner how is serious and serious again
also i wanna know what papers should i have and how to apply for step 1
finally does the usmle deserve all these efforts ?

hi everyone..overhere and there..!
iam tottaly confused....i am feeling like i am paralyzed...i am willing ver much to do the USMLE....coz here in egypt....all my ambitions were lost...i had bad circumstances...so USMLE for me is like a matter of life and death...... i am still caring about the matter of expenses...of the whole thing....some of my friends who are willing to do usmle as well...told me that is nearly like a must nowadays to get both letters of recommendation and any kind of USCE as well....in order to able to compete.....
my questions are ..:
#1) what are the proper steps in the right order to do the USMLE..for a final year medical student studying SURGERY and OBS &GYNA...i mean should i start by step 1 or 2...should i try doin electives by the end of this year before emtiaz....?
#2)what if all what i got was a very good score...but no electives no letters of recommendation...will i be able in such a way to compete wiz any specilaty i'd like to get...?
#3)about the matter of electives.....is there anyone here who did electives...if so...would ya please kindly tell me about your experience...about the whole thing from A-Z..the expenses.. where u had them...when u did it....??
