I've heard that Boards and Wards, and Crush or Secrets are the best for Step 2. Does anyone know if these books are available in ain-shams or not?

I know for a fact that USMLE Secrets and Crush are both available at El Manar bookshop, I think boards and wards is there too but you should pay them a visit and ask.
Secrets costs 15 le, Crush is more expensive.

I remember I bought a package that had a book like that with 4 tapes from a center that belongs to Amideast, but that was like 7 years ago.

Many people don't prefer NMS for Step 2.
Here's what Dr. Kimberli Cox recommends (General Surgery, Cancer Institute of New Jersey)
1. UW (a must do thing)
2. Boards and wards for step 2 and 3
3. Crush or secrets step II
4. If still have time then Kaplan QBook and
5. if still have time..do the kaplan notes or FA for step II (i think it doesn't have surgery notes in it so you might have to buy FA for surgery as well but i am not too sure on this one)
but i have heard 1, 2, 3, and 4 should be more than enough,.

I don't know but I guess not, you'll find it in Amideast. Why do you wanna take it aslan? If you dont mind me asking. I thought you said you'll go through the USMLE journey and the TOEFL is not required.

but Faddy, I think they require some thing called "test of spoken english [ TSE ]" for the CS exam......as CS don't only test your medical information, but also your language and communication...
any way I think we should think about it after finishing the 1st 2 steps..

Nany, they do not require a TSE for the CS exam. One of the components they test on the exam is your ability to speak english; that part is called SEP(Spoken English Proficiency).

TSE exam is only recommended for people whose english is not their first language, but Not Required. It's for self assessment purposes only.
