I have a question for you
Most elective programs programs that I've come across up till now require that one supply "An OFFICIAL transcript from the home medical school, indicating successful completion of all required clinical core clerkships in Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Surgery at time of application"
And I quote this from the Duke University School Of Medicine website
How is this possible, if by our standards , a last year medical student is yet to take atleast half of those?
I was just wondering... WHAT DID YOU DO?

yes, because last 2 months rotations of medical school in the states is usually optional.. hence the name electives
you'll have to tell them that you would have already graduated by the time you finish all core clerkships so you will be ineligible to do electives in the states and they will understand... and some of them only require that you would be done with ur elective of choice in your home school before u can do it there.... some other require that you have spent only 2-3 weeks min in ur final rotations of med school...
Actually my transcript had only my grades until 4th year because right now im taking 5th year final exams... but as long as I'll be done with IM before doing electives there and matriculating into last year of school, so that would be fine..
