i took my exam on 26 april and am so relieved it got over finally! this forum has been of tremendous inspiration to me and whenever i needed motivation i would log on and read an exam experience....all u guys r wonderful ! i wanna thank nnl especially cox he cleared so mny of my doubts and obne of them did spring up on my exam.... and babydoc 4usmle and isther and sharvil,gogeta,KG,palani.... many others.....now to the exam experience.....GUYS this exam is not as difficult as ppl make it out to be....there were lots n lots of simple qs ....i had no block called the  IFFICULT " block as some ppl describe....most of the qs seemed familiar concepts.....am not saying i did extremely well but yes a lot lot better than i had expected....maybe it was purely GOD'S Grace.....i went to the tempe on the morning of the exam then just closed my books and prayed and the exam was really good...faith in GOd MATTERS a lot guys....at least thats what i felt .....and i had suffered several bouts of depression,anxiety and exhaustion during my prep but on my the DAY i felt good,like it was all worth it.....one thing guys do not get carried away by what ppl say ....believe in urself ,work hard and pray pray pray and u will do great!
i used goljan 500 pgs HY ,kaplan and FA,goljan audios ...all these sources as recommended by ppl in this forum...i had plenty of slides from path on my exam...but there was always a history sometimes inadequate but i felt it was fair.....not too much of biostat ....i finished all my blocks just exactly in 1 hr each....had no time to revise.....maybe coz iwas thinkin a lot and answering.... ....the most frustrtatin moment was when i revised one q and changed the right ans to the wrong and by the time i realized and was abt to change it back the time was up n the block closed...guys i didnt understand this coz with nbmes ,usmle cd i always finished in 45 mins....but time was a problem on the BIG DAY!
I GOT 460 IN both nbme form 2 and 3 1 month and 2 weks before my exam....but i honetly felt i did my exam a lot better...now the wait starts for me....all d bets to u guys and dont give up...dont get discouraged ever!

guys i just got my score,its 227/95....considering my NBMES its really good coz i got 460 in both 2 n 3 1 month and 2 weeks before my exam! so all of u preparing for this exam dont ever underestimate urself...am a very avergae person.if i could do this by God's grace,you can too....any qs r welcome...

how important do you weigh the goljan audios? Notes alone are not enough? also tell me what kind of bio chem (not mol or genetics) question come in exam mostly ! i am talking about concepts here.
Is Kaplan Gross anatomy not enough compared to HY?

hi inkspot...thanks a lot...yes i listened to goljan 2-3 times,along with his 500 pg HY notes...both r essential and i felt goljan helps a LOT for the exam.mol biology was my weak subj and even in d score report that has pulled my score down...i did only kaplan,dont remember the exact qs but they were not straightforward for sure.....i just guessed n marked those...anat i just did kaplan.
and yes am looking at 2008 match hopefully

hi unique,first aid is enuf for pharma,but do go thru usmle world,it gives great concepts for pharma which helped me a lot in d exam.....i made pharma notes from usmle world...thanks doc 179..g/l to u too
