Patient with HTN & CHF then sudden AFib. What is the most effective treatment? Beta bloker or Digoxin?

Actualy this pt is taking diuretic and ACE inhibitor for HTN/CHF and then sudden AFib. The answer is: initate Beta bloker therapy (control Afib and provide mortality benefit). If the rate was not controlled with Beta blocker alone then using Digoxin plus Beta blocker. (Digoxin has no mortality benefit). Another case: Patient with Mitral stenosis+CHF and Afib. The drug of choice is Digoxin (control ventricular rate, allowing greater time in diastolic and greater ventricular filling-> which is essential in pt with Mitral stenosis. (from new Kap qbak) To Everone this info makes no sense to me at all, shuldn't be the other way around CHF w/ Diastolic Dysf + HTN + Afib --> BB
