superior gluteal nerve injury.....

*gluteus medius and minimus are paralyzed..inability to abduct the thigh and pull the pelvis down.

*positive trendlenberg's sign.

*positive trendlenberg's sign can also be seen in dislocation of hip and # neck of femur.
