it explains an intermittent claudication with loss of pulses, but next step is aspirin and exercise!

I'm wondering in the case of absent pulses we need to do angiography. So..!

any idea?

Was there doppler offered? You wouldn't do angio if there was no pressure gradient on doppler.

Wht i have learned from kaplan surgery and UW abt PVD--->is that even if the pt is able to walk half a block without PAIN,and the pain DOESNT interfere with his day to day activites say going to his work place or say the pt has retired from his work, and he is mostly at home, not doing much work------>then the t/t is stop smoking if he smokes and ASA

But if the pt pain interferes with his day to day activites, he cant sleep at night, has to stand to relieve his pain---------->then U START the work up--->first with doppler---->if positive----->do angio to chk the vessels ar suitable for bypass or grafts
