i took nbme early feb got 410. , my exam in 6 wks too, lets see how much improvement made
will be taking nbme soon, to see the current status

I was thinking about getting 1 too.
do you have any plan for these last weeks? I mean, I plan to finish uw second time until May 13 and then to take 1 month for final review but I did not make any specific plan for that last month. not yet anyways.....

ive decided to join too. 6 weeks in my exam too. did two revisions of kaplan n did q bank in book form. will start uw from 1st may. did nbme 2 n scored 560. but i did that before starting preperation. hope thsi diary will keep me motivated.

hi sailing boat hw iseverything going on........i was sick so i wasted ,my couple of days.....oh god i dont no hw i can cover them just 4weeks to go ......i m really tense....today i am doing obs....lets see hw much i can do today...i m trying finish everything by 15 th of may lets seee......best of luck to u and me and to alll we can do it

hi how is every body doing. seems like everyone is too busy to drop by n fill in. well thas wt happens at the end. im doing q bank and gyne. tried to finish yday but could not instead of that i started doing questions. i just cant resist teh temptation of doing qs. everytime i open them i remind mysel fthat i should atleast do the kaplans one more time but i just cant. i dont know hwo people read teh books four n five times. thas so impressive. wish could do that.
todays target is to finish the gyne book.. 120 pages.
finsh paeds questions.. about 90 i think.
lets see how much i can do .

best of luck to all of you in here. i have one month too. i will be beginning final review from 6th..I wish I could begin on 1st May..but not done with the 3rd review yet and Q bank left to finish in anothere 3-4 days. all the best again.

i m happy i did finish gyne but i could not do questions. i left 40 coz i wanted to sleep. i was so tired that i could hardly see the page so i just put the buk aside n went to sleep without being ashamed fr once.
thx nikki. ive been reading ur journal. all of u r doing great. just great. u will get through flying colours. dont forget to write ur examm experience afterwards.

when i start reading i cznt do questions n when i start questions then i just cant do the theory. impressed by those who do everythign simultaneously.

hi every body.
feeling so bad today.did finish gyne questions from q bank yday. n dont knwo why but i hate to read teh explanations although i know i need to read them.
just started uworld from today.
its very good. i wish i should have started it earlier.started to read cardiolgy along with doing questions. scoring just 65 percent. i dont know if its good or bad but i feel liek i should get good to be confident to go fr the exam. many times i just feel i cant do it coz im nt smart enough. i think today n tomorro wi will try to finish cardiolgy n then will start pulmonology..

yday did 150 questions only n today plan to read some weak areas only like cardiomyopathy and arrythmias. and then do more questions only till night. its a beautiful day to study more.
my plan is to finish one more reading of kaplans + UW . and do FA in this month and then take NBME form 3 at the end n then give the exam in early june (provided i do good in form 3) n for that i should work harder.
writing here keeps me on tract. ive a pressure to finsh my target.

may 05
i finished cardiology yady. did two blocks from cardio. scores 84 n 91. felt so good that went to sleep. very bad
now started doing gastro n did teh test before reading n got a good low score in 50's so now studying again. will finish n two hrs and then will take teh test. i think that questions in UW r hard n its difficult to do then while reading kaplans only. i should start FA. i think i should buy it in the next two days so that i can make notes on that fr my final review. im already short of time and ive soooooo much to do. its very hard.
will update tomorrow.

weekend is always bad fr me. never did anything good on it. hardly managed to do 4 blocks of uw and finished git from kaplan again. uw explanations takes a loong time.
today did three blocks. dint score good. 52, 63 , 65. want to finsh it all before 20 may coz ive to revice everything in last 10 days. im thinking to revice from fa. wt a good idea .. revise from theook that ive never read before. i still haev to finish my q bank in teh last 10 days. badly stuck with just everything. many times i feel like i should postpon the exam fr another full month and read everything twice.
todays plan till night.
finish infectious diseases n pulmonology . then read explanations and then do another block uw.

yday was nt a very good day. just finished infectious diseases chapter and started renal but dint feel like completing it. did another block of UW n got 73 percent.felt some wt better . but the actual problem is that i cant do more than two blocks at a time. as soon as i start the third one i feel like ive complete obtundation. i feel so tired. i will have to work hard on it. im really impressed with those who gave teh exam in 8 blokcs. to me it sounds like something horrible.
i think i should practise more n try to do atleast 4 blocks.
todays target. finish renal from kaplan n FA. do explanations of two blocks from yday n do another three blocks. i hope i will be able to do it after all there r atleast 16 hrs till i go to sleep at night.
thanks sera. im nt genius at all. im an average student but keep working towards the target is the key to success.

hello
bad day to start with.yday finished renal from kaplan n FA. i feel its quite deficient in kaplan. especially GN is nt given good so had to read that.then did three blocks from UW. two from renal and one from infectious diseases. got 73, 54 n 80. but im still nt comfortable with the question n worst of all i dont read full question.ive to work this out. i do many silly mistakes because of skipping the part i need to read.
well todays target
finish pulmonology from kaplan n FA n three blocks of UW. one mixed and two from pulmonology. with explanations.
i hope i can do it. so far did cardio, git, renal, infectious diseases with UW questions subjectwise.i should go fast. one 28 days left n i have to finish everything real fast.i think i should be able to finish medicine til sunday. may be i should do two systems a day n then try questions. will try to do another today if got finished with pulmonology . will update tomorrow.
