Does the IMG has a chance to enter Urology Program in Canada? Any advise will be highly appreciated!

In Canada Family medicine is equal to plastic surgery for IMG's. So you can imagine about a competative branch like urology.

no competition as no positons in urology to compete upon!!!!!!!!
competiton in family medicine or other specialities but in urology no positions for imgs and all positions are confined to cmgs only

I think you have to do general surgery residency to apply for urology. There are no prelim positions in Canada and there is certainly no Urology pgy1 or 2 positions. So, get a surgical residency in you can  and after 5 years go for urology if you will still be interested.
