I am a mother of 2 lovely daughters- elder one aged 3yrs 5 months and younger one 21 month old.A 10 yr old graduate.I had difficult time managing my studies and kids.Still I could manage to get this score, by GOD'S grace.I had all support from my husband and my parents. I just thought to share my score to all and especially to mothers who are planning to prepare that you can get what you want with good determination and hard work.

Congrats!! Same score as me - I reckon there's a special ring to having a "96" - it sounds like the score of someone who's smart but not too bookish!!

By the way, can i ask what the 3 digit score mean, does that mean you answered 231 questions correctly among the 350 questions?

thank you for all who joined with me in my success.
books i used
BRS path,goljan notes,robbins questions.
high yield anatomy,embryology,neuroanatomy,cell molecular biology,immunolgy.
brs behavioural science kaplan for ethics,-my performance is less in this subject -you may choose different resources.
brs physiology
brs biochemistry
pharmac katzung
kaplan medessentials
micro made ridiculously simple
first aid.
my husband allowed me to come back to my home country with my kids -for me to proceed with my studies.
i put my kids in day care from 10-4. studied from 10-4.by 4pm kids will return ,then played and enjoyed with kids till they sleep.they reduced my stress a lot.i din t have much time to sit and worry about exam because such times were used managing kidsplay/fight.put them to sleep by 9pm .then get fresh and studied again for about 3 hours.as they are small they will wake up in between 2 or 3 times.i wil go back from my study.if they are sick they wont sleep well too.
weekend -sundays kids at home dont study.2nd saturdays kids at home -dont study.these days for our live webcam conferening with my husband.time when kids see their father.
i have read text 3 times. 1st was a slow reading. next test wise,next organ wise. path i did 4 times- last is a quick run through the text..
3 weeks before exam i did nbme forum 2 for which my score was 530.after that i studied when my kids played near me.both my parents took care of them more.i studied arround 10 -11hrs .last week my parents took care of my kids fully.last days my qbank scores were going poor.i was tensed.but my mother boosted my confidence.
one day before exam we had to travel by train - 11 hour journey- to the test center. so my kids and mine sleep was not fine that night..i was happy about that.because we all slept well the day before the exam except that my elder daughter woke up once for a short time arround 2 am.my inlaws and my father took care of my kids these 2 days.i studied the whole day.
i think it was a joint effort by the whole family not me alone.
now step2 ahead my kids not allowing me to study at night.they are waking up if i sit to study at night.but its funny with them.

Congratulation, dpmr .Super mom with very good high score especially with 2 very young children.
You're very humble, also telling the so truely that to get pass the exam is not only your hard studying, but also the good supporting hubby, your/ his family depends where you stay with.
Yes, do not forget to give credit to hubby, family, siblings, friends even cyber friends here and any one that help, support you to have your dream comes through and make it happen .

Yes, children are destressor, make you laugh,eat on time & right well , sleep well early , bring you outting to enjoy weather family time to change your stressed out compressing pressuring inside & mood etc to make you physical, mentally healtheier
they are also your motivators ...not to spend time watching TV or browsing long on line .
In your study resources, any Q , & from where, any kap LN or dvd at all , or none kap LN or Q at all ?
