For all who took their step 2.
What is the main thing mostly tested in step 2?
-how Dx
-Recognize the pathology?
-What Labs or method of Dx should I use? Gold standard?
-Therapy ; first line, second line...etc.
-Etiology?
-Epidemiology?
i'm almost finish reading all Kaplan Notes, its difficult to memorize EVERY single detail of the material covered. Planning for the end to MEMORIZE CRUSH THE BOARDS.
Does someone have a better idea?
Help me please......

I am also having similiar feelings for this exam. I have used a mixture of Blueprints, kaplan and First Aid. Now I don't know how can I memorize so much detail. I am more leaning towards Crush the Boards for last 2-3 weeks but the thing is this that reviewing the same topic from multiple books will not work for me...I like to recall things from my visual memory.
What do you say?

In FA recent edition, they have a listing of what kind of questions mostly asked.
1) What is the diagnosis ? (40%)
2) what is initial step in managment? (20%)
3) what is next step in management? (20%)
4) what is the cause for this?(5%)
5) what is the organism? (3%)
did those who took exam feel this is the way it was for them?

ThanKs for answering guys!
I finished Kaplan which i think is very good, but as I said "to long" to memorize. Now look, I work in a place sorrounded with a lot of students who are rotating Surgery. This is what must of them tell me. Some took their exam just recently or others are taking it within a few weeks, months, something like that.
Must of them took kaplan course, I personally can't because a work full time, so someone gave me her note books. (I did the same thing for step 1 and I pass).
All of them AGREE with CRUSH STEP 2, some students even say that they just review that cause they can't read long books and don't have time with their rotations.
I just started CRUSH step 2, for my point of view looks good, but if you read other material first (I READ KAPLAN). I HAVE 53 days to go. We will see what happens.

hi,i have my step 2 within 3 wks.i 'm wandering if to take in addition to Kaplan's and NMS MCQs - "Exam Master &or "USMLEWORLD" MCQs.
would u recommend?
