a lady with occasional severe attack of dyspnea with facial edema.on examination severe respiratory distress, red and inflamed pharynx.what is your management?
1) adrenalin for out pt.usage
2) cortison I.V
3) lateral x-ray of larynx
4) epinephrine SC( subcutaneous)
5) intubation

is this the full vignette? Looks like anaphylaxis.
But then again, she might have epiglottitis (Haemophilus Influenzae, not vaccinated, now more common in adults than kids) and pharyngeal enanthema points towards it.
I'd go for orotracheal intubation!

Unless there are additional infos in the vignette that might steer my decision towards epi s.c.

i will also go for 5) intubation.
i think this is an emergency case and securing the airway is important.

I would go with (4) epinephrine SC

I completely agree with the above, but I guess we would like to see some fever to start thinking about haemophilus
