hey doc can i do brs instead of goljan for patho? where did u do cts mris x rays from? did u refer katzung or lippincott for pharma ans or other topics?

u can do BRS
but in my opinion its not written the way exam is testing patho concepts these days
ppl may or may not agree its a bit obsolete(my opinion)
i did cts and mri from netanatomy and wayne state university radiology site
and i only used kaplan for pharma

i dint know where to ask u so i am asking u herei have roughly 2 months to go ,please can u help me in suggestiong what shud i do in these months...i get panicky if i get less than 80%..also i have made my own notes ,so u think i can reviese my notes and not do FA 2 weeks before exams...your suggestions are welcome or roughly if u can write how your days used to be 2 months before..

u are really kong of usmle that u panic when u go below 80 percent
if u have 2 months to go revise kaplan(if u r using it) and ur notes
if u dnt want to use FA no fun in using it
leave it
u can get a v good score widout it

and its actually bcoz of this habit of mine that i have only done 21% qbank and 20 % UW qbank..plz suggest what shud i do and my notes are also not complete ,i have to do those too...how much of qbanks had u done uptill 2 mnths before and till what level shud i learn the subjects that u think i would be ready for the exam..thanks once again

Its not wise to stop doi qs if u r goin below 80%
i had done QBANK 3-4 months prior to my exam and UW 1 month before my exam
dnt worry
u still have time

for pathology goljan slides are v v good
i did use medessentials or FA

i think if u do goljan apid review with the best of ur abilities i m sure u ll get a star in patho

Congratulations ...
There are two things that i liked most in your preparation:
1- good study group
2- no FA
Q HY histology is too big, can we only do Kaplan ?

I'm just wondering if reading goljan HY 100+36 pages is enough for review in last 2 week? I've read his full notes, but month ago I guess. My exam is mid June. And if reading immuno from FA is sufficient for the test?

HIGH YIELD 100 PAGES do not cover only patho and those in my opinion(others may differ) are not a good review source-
and reading immuno from FA will not be sufficient-i was asked alot abt immuno(and its an increasing trend)

kme is a v good review book esp if u have read kaplan
in high yield neuro and gross anat there are many angiograms and they are more than enuf for exam
and i dnt have any lonk for goljan slides
2-3 angio in my exam
and i think every 4th to 5th q had a pic wid it-

re pict, could you summarize, in detail like
1.golj ,
a. all his on line slide or
b. his RR latest slide in book only or
c. both
2. web prep.. which one, pathho only , all or only few system GI, etc in detail for both morbid cadaver organ & patho slides too or etc.
3. could you pl link wayne Uni site & what exact pict should we see there for exm
4. re net anatomy .. so many, need all or only which in detail.
Thanks, ev 4, 5 Q with pic, it is such a huge big deal . Sounds like image, histo , patho exm only.
re mole, immu, apart from kap LN, dvd, any other to add on to do the current test trends.
