Research fellow position is open in Cardio Thoracic Surgery Department at Staten Island University Hospital, New York.
Job description: This is a clinical research position, but candidates with other research experience are also welcome. Presently both prospective and retrospective studies are in progress. Candidate should be able to come up with ideas for new studies and capable of implementing them independently as well as in a group environment, able to write protocols to IRB, must have research paper writing experience. Volunteers will be working under this position and they need to be guided. Good communication skills and Leadership qualities are required. The work atmosphere is excellent and very friendly.
Duration: Minimum 1 year.
Salary: US$ 52,000 plus health benefits.
Candidates will be offered H1-B Visa (Visa expenses should be paid by the candidate). A personal interview with PI and other corresponding persons will be scheduled after screening.
