Hi, I am an FMG from Italy. I am planning on applying to Pediatrics residency in match 2008. Most program require that I submit a Dean's letter as part of the application. However, in Italy there is NO such thing as a Dean's letter!!!!! (only a list of grades is available). Can anybody tell me their experience? do I really need the letter? if anyone from Italy, what documents did you get from your medical school? THANKS!!!!

I got a position in peds this match. Having a dean's letter would be better but it is not mandated. Actually, I didn't submit it because my Dean couldn't write me one. And I didnt have any pb with that. Focus on your score and your application and you'll be fine.
